Good morning TWIMChampions! In keeping with sacred tradition I am sending you this message to wish all of you and your families a great Holiday season!
2017 has indeed been a truly great year for us with so many awesome swims both as individuals and as a team! Congratulations to everyone! And kudos for the many hours of hard work staring at the black line at the bottom of those pools!
It has also been a year of growth, as we continue to attract new swimmers to TWIM! Welcome to all of you!
It seems like over a century ago that Betsey, Carl and I met outside of Briggs YMCA after yet another meet and had a conversation about the energy we felt developing within us toward the formation of a new team. Out of that conversation TWIM was born!
Today TWIM has become a family, a Spirit and way of life that symbolizes our dedication to and passion for the sport we all love! TWIM also symbolizes the encouragement and support we give to one another-
I look forward to a stellar 2018 as the TWIM Spirit rises ever upward! I look forward to the unforgettable feeling of energy as we gather together on the deck and scream our lungs out for each other…
