Established in 2015, Team Walker International Masters grew out of the vision of one very friendly guy, Thomas Walker, whose love of swimming is legendary and whose drive inspires us all. We are a growing workout group registered under Club Puget Sound Masters in the Pacific Northwest LMSC of United States Masters Swimming (USMS). Join Us!
At Team Walker International Masters, we enjoy competing in just about any kind of swimming event from pool meets to postals to open water swim races. And we are known to travel far and wide for them. From the World Masters Championships in Doha, recently, to the Pan American Masters Championships in Medellin, Colombia, TWIM is there!
Each year, TWIM and its 501(c)(3) TWIM Booster Club give back a portion of your donations and clinic participation fees to support important programs like Adult Learn To Swim (USA Swimming Foundation) and Washington State Special Olympics.
TWIM is a collection of individuals who swim competitively, but we are much more than that. We have individuals among us who not only advocate for new pool construction but also work to keep pools open that are threatened with closure.
In addition to this, we are obsessed with increasing the skill level of adult competitive swimmers as well as non-competitive individuals. We do this through the swim clinics we run. We have members among us who instruct children in swimming and those who work with special needs kids through Special Olympics programs.
