Thank you Vinnie and Welcome!

Good morning TWIM! I am thrilled beyond belief after Vincent Cucinelli (“Vinnie C”) of the Columbia Athletic Club helped us out in such a big way at the 97th annual Senior Seattle Open last weekend!

Vinnie is a long time Aquatics Director and past coach at the Pine Lake franchise of the CAC where many TWIMmers train. He graciously offered his services to us last Thursday in the form of stroke advice and…shelter! You see, Vinnie and the CAC generously provided a large tent for us to huddle under while watching the action at Colman pool.

So, welcome to TWIM, Vinnie, and Thank You!!

Attending this meet were nearly 400 young swimmers, ages 14-19 – the best of the best in the PNW – plus, for the first time in the meet’s nearly 100 year history, 38 Masters swimmers. Together, they partook of the glorious aquatic energy that enveloped Colman pool last weekend.

By the way, a BIG shout-out to fellow TWIMmer, Vince “V-Man” Carmosino, for convincing the organizers to dual sanction this meet for Masters in the first place!!

I was so positively impacted by this meet, I promised wonderful Meet Director, Renee, I would be bringing 50 Masters swimmers with me next year!

Hail TWIM Long Live!
