Jenny Conquers 10K Swim in Seattle

Look out! TWIM has another mega swimmer in its midst in Jenny Ferries. We first reported on the epic swim by Voni some time ago. Now, Jenny can lay claim to completing a marathon swim, too!

The Seattle 10K Invitational Open Water Swim took place this past Saturday, September 16th, in Lake Washington. Put on by the fine folks at Say Yes to Life Swims, this was Seattle’s first 10K after they organized a 6K distance around Mercer Island last year.

Jenny finished in just 3 hours. But this was not a race. As organizer Guila Muir puts it, this is a non-competitive escorted open water swim adventure aimed at challenging yourself!

So, with that in mind, we won’t mention that Jenny finished in the top two out of 19 swimmers entered.

Congratulations, Jenny!!
