Thorbeckes 2023 New Year’s 10K Swim
- Where: Centralia, Thorbeckes Aquatic Center @ 910 Johnson Road, Centralia, WA 98531
- When: Friday December 30, 2022 @ 8:30am-1:00pm
- Who: Open to all Thorbeckes members & nonmembers who can swim all or part of the Practice
- Start your New Year’s off on a fun & challenging note by joining the South Sound and TWIM Master’s Swim Team for a group led Practice!!!
- You will have the choice to choose from 1 of the following workouts (space limited for each distance):
100 X 100s on 2:00 = Total 10,000 meters
100 X 75s on 2:00 = Total 7,500 meters
100 X 50s on 2:00 = Total 5,000 meters
- You can join us for all or part of the Practice! Challenge yourself and have fun reaching your goal with the Team! May use fins, paddles, kickboard, pull buoy, or a snorkel as needed!
- Limited to 15 swimmers. Sign up early because spots will go fast!
- $30 per swimmer is to help defray the cost for the New Year’s 10K Celebratory Lunch, 10K Goodies, & 10K miscellaneous items!
- Deadline date to sign-up & pay $30 is December 16, 2022!
- Nonmembers will need to pay Thorbeckes Guest Fee of $10 & complete a Waiver Form which will be available at the Thorbeckes Aquatics Reception Desk on the morning of the 10K!
- We are offering a “Thorbeckes 2023 New Year’s 10K Swim” Event short sleeve shirt (100% cotton, unisex). They are available for purchase for an additional $32. Deadline to order a shirt is December 1st and will be available for pick-up on December 30th. Please mail a check to me and make it payable to Erin McPeak.
- Please include with your sign-up the distance you will be swimming (50s, 75s, or 100s)!
