The latest TWIM Clinic occurred on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Snohomish Aquatic Center.

A small group of attendees were present for the very interesting Lasting Improvements clinic with Coach Wendy Neely. We started with a relaxation exercise then moved into the pool. The pool portion had a focus on awareness and integration of stroke and drill. Many topics from other stroke clinics were covered but with a different approach that helped the progression flow.

We worked on consistency’s effect on efficacy. A lot of time was spent with freestyle with lots of different drills to improve balance and stroke quality. The other strokes were covered too, again with drills and explanations to answer why.

This was a morning well spent followed by an even more interesting group interaction at Trails End Restaurant, with most clinic-goers also attending a no host meal.

It was a fun morning and early afternoon for all involved!
