Four TWIMmers – Betsey “ The Machine” Kassen, Tammy RK, Father Tom “ The Swimming Priest”, and yours truly – rocketed through the annual Rudolph Plunge extravaganza at the Briggs YMCA in scenic Olympia Washington this past Saturday.
Yes, the meet was a small one, but to paraphrase the theatrical genius Constantin Stanislavski of the last century, “ There are no small meets, only small swimmers”.
So we had the pool to ourselves and the setting was deliciously intimate! TWIM made its usual signature statement- Anytime, anywhere, any stroke- Bring it on! Seeing that row of TWIM caps hammering out aquatic reality once more brought a tear to my eye and we can all indeed be proud!

The bottom line is that it was all from the heart and we etched another page in the legend that is TWIM!
