Vince “V-Man” Carmosino looked stronger and smoother than an angry torpedo as he swam off toward Vashon Island yesterday morning and came back with a huge Victory for TWIM!
I hear tell he took 2nd place in his Age Group. No big deal for V-Man, though, people! As we sat eating and celebrating at the awards ceremony after the last swimmer came in, V-Man looked so calm and collected it actually scared me! Looked more like the cover of GQ!
Yes, every time we answer the Aquatic Call as one, and as a team, we are planting the TWIM banner ever higher and living up to our responsibility both to ourselves as swimmers and to our teammates.
