The Snohomish Aquatic Masters hosted a great meet at the Snohomish Aquatic Center, last Sunday, November 10!
TWIM brought some power to this event with eleven swimmers participating! The TWIM Swimmers were Graham Anderson, Guilherme Anzilago Tesser, Brent Barnes, Emily Castillo, Steve Fogg Holly Lickwala, Scott Neuhaus, David Scott, Atsuko Takahashi, Dan Underbrink, and Kelly Vikstrom.

A warm TWIM welcome to Graham Anderson, swimming in his first meet as a TWIM member! Graham has been hanging around with TWIM for a while now, attending many of our swim clinics, and chatting with us at many swim meets, including the Washington State Senior Games. We are glad to have you with us, Graham!
Also, TWIM wishes a fond farewell to Scott Neuhaus, who traveled to swim in his last meet as a TWIM member. Scott has relocated to Eastern Washington, where henceforth, he will be swimming with the TriCity Atomic Sturgeons. Best wishes Scott! TWIM looks forward to seeing you at regional events – and hopefully at the 2025 Summer Nationals!
This is a somber time for TWIM, as we are all still reeling from the loss of our co-founder and team namesake, Mr. Thomas Walker.
Tom also swam at Snohomish for his personal workouts and was great friends with the Snohomish Pool Staff. Snohomish Coach Tonya Heike asked for a moment of silence, before the meet started, so that all present could honor Tom’s memory.
We set up a Tom Walker Memorial Warm-up Lane, where swimmers could swim a few laps to remember Tom.

Also, in remembrance of Tom, the TWIM Banner was hung with a black border. We all honor and miss our friend, Tom. His legacy lives on with TWIM.
Anyway, back to the meet…

Holly, Emily, and Kelly also swam in a Free Relay, but it was ruled to be an exhibition event, due to their fourth swimmer being a non-TWIM swimmer. It still looked like they had fun swimming it!
Great swims by all!
TWIM thanks the Snohomish Pool Staff and all the Officials, Timers and other volunteers, whose efforts go to make these meets so much fun for everyone participating!
Until next time…Swim On!
