Killing it in Spokane! The Swimming Priest leads TWIM to Victory!

(updated July 6, 2016)

Father Tom Fristschen, “The Swimming Priest”, hereafter referred to as “FT”, performed another Aquatic miracle at the Summer Solstice Long Course Meters meet in Spokane this past weekend. By his own individual effort, he raised our TWIM banner even higher! Hallelujah! That’s what it’s about- Each of us takes the personal responsibility to get it done anywhere, anytime, any event, any pool, and The TWIM spirit gives us 100 times more power than we have as individuals. That’s the Credo by which we Live! But enough of my demented raving!

On Saturday, FT proceeded to take first in the 200 Back after shaving a second off his seed time then establishing a new PR in the 100 Free!

Never a man to leave before the job is done, FT returned on Sunday to finish First Place in the 100 Back and another PR! And that was just a warm-up of course! He went on to a First Place victory in the 50 Back and 2nd in the 400 Free, which he swam all Freestyle this time! We’ve been trying to tell him the Freestyle is probably faster than the Back… We are encouraged because he seems to finally be listening!

Papa Francisco is overjoyed, as are we! This is all being done with Vatican approval, of course!

The next and most terrifying question is what is this Aquatic Wrecking Ball going to do next!

We all know FT is an insanely intense competitor, winning world cup gold and silver and setting track records in his first athletic career, Big Time Cycling-

Seems like he’s starting to take his second athletic career, the Art of Swimming, seriously and it’s about time!

Way to Rock It FT! I already hear the Blocks beckoning us to the next opportunity-

COB

Hail TWIM Long Live!
